Group 4 - Using Yahoo Mail
Today you were taught some tools in Yahoo Mail where you only had written instructions to follow. How do you think you managed this lesson?

Hi Mrs Tonner
Todays work was easy because I read the instructions you gave me carefully. I then followed the instructions on the paper given. You then helped me on the computer for the next bit. I then typed in the message on the paper and sent it to your hotmail address and added it to my contact list.
I thought that when we got just the piece of paper it was alright. I found it easy to understand and would not mind if we got taught in this way more often. Rosie.
I felt today's lesson was quite easy as we were reading off a piece of paper. I felt that it was a clear lesson and prefer that type of teaching because it is easier to understand. I hope the next lesson is just as much fun. I felt it was enjoyable.
Today, Tuesday the 30th of January, in I.C.T. we were learning more about useing our Yahoo! email accounts but this time all we had to use was a piece of paper with the instructions on it. I found that I had to read the insructions really carefully then i got to grips with what we were doing. I thought this lesson was also very succsessfuland I learnt a lot. I find I.C.T. really fun and really enjoy it. By Georgina
I think today's lesson was perfectly fine. I think the instructions on the paper were very easy -to-follow and I managed to complete the set task successfully. The pictures were also very helpful as they showed you what to do. Anna.
I feel that this exersise was successful because we had a booklet and there was a picture and a arrow to show us what to do and where to put it.I feel that i think it was good because you had the pictures and arrows to show wear to type in.I prefer it that way with the pictures but i think i would be able to do it with out the pictures as well. In ICT today we leart how to get the new Yahoo! Mail Account by following instructions. I felt that last week when we learnt in lots of different ways was easier but I still managed to do it well. I think I am a good follower.
In class we were taught by written instructions. I think the lesson was successful in some ways but not in others. I managed to complete the task given in the lesson, which may be partly because I find it easiest to follow instructions if they are written down. However some people didn't find the lesson very easy and struggled with the task given. I think it would be easier if we were taught in all three ways, as we were taught like this in our last lesson and it was proved to be successful.
I found this lesson easier than last week's lesson because I coud just look at my sheet repeatedly and therefore could do the next thing without having to listen to the teacher.
I think that the lesson was quite easy because I constder myself to be a visual learner (when I read the instruction then do them). I thought sending the message was good practice . I now know more about computers !!!!!!!!!!
This weeks lesson was a little harder than last weeks.Logging on to yahoo mail was easy and yahoo mail beta is really good.Now I'll use yahoo mail even more.

Hello Mrs Tonner last weeks lesson would have been even better had i remembered my homework (silly me!) i found last weeks lesson harder as we only had a few words from you to point us in the right direction and the booklet.I must learn to listen more then i can try and get better at I.C.T from Richard
I thought last week at I.C.T went ok, we had a booklet in front of us and a short talk by Mrs Tonnar on what the booklet contained. I do find it easier when Mrs Tonnar says what we do first, like she did last week. If we forget we would use the booklet, overall it was quite good. Unfortunately I was out of time, since I had to open a new account on Yahoo, as I had forgotten my password.
